I have an authorization certificate to sell the product, my products are blocked.
Yesterday I received a Received Intellectual Property Complaints violation. I was informed that if I do not take action within 72 hours, my account will be disabled. I have been doing FBA for 2 years and I have never received any violations in the past. Even though I uploaded my signed and stamped authorization document from the distributor and the company's stamped authorization document of the distributor in my country, I was rejected. 630 of my products were blocked in the warehouse. I have a loss of over $12,000.
I am doing FBA in accordance with Amazon policies, but Amazon has been seriously pushing the sellers for the last month, constantly encountering problems is annoying the sellers who are trying to do their job properly. What does it mean to have an original authorization certificate but be removed from the list? I hope I can solve this problem as soon as possible. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be happy to help.

What are you selling? Are you selling other brands items?

I would suggest contacting your account rep or other contact at the brand, and let them know what is happening. It's possible that the brand is pushing Amazon, and doesn't recognize your store name, or something like that. Also possible that they may be able to do something from their end to validate you as an authorized seller.

Just to be clear; are trying to call Amazon? Or the headquarters for the brand that authorized you to sell? Would be odd for a brand that has authorized you to not have a way to contact them (unless they are a Jewish run business and closed for Passover).

Hello @Seller_z6urYRZoVjt6x,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums.
I see that the community has provided guidance. But I wanted to reach out as well.
Based off of the information you have provided, I see that you have received an IP violation and also was informed that you have 72 hours to address it.
Per our intellectual property policy for sellers, all sellers must comply with all federal, state and local laws and amazon policies and may not violate the IP rights of brands or other rights owners. The 3 main types of IP rights are copyright, trademark and patent.
When a received intellectual property violation occurs, it is due to the rights or the brand owner of the product you are selling who has put in the complaint because they do not recognize granting you permission to sell their products.
I understand that you have provided an authorization document from your distributor and the company distributor. Do these documents have your information on it or the distributors information on it? The reason why I ask this is because just because your distributor has permission, does not mean it automatically give you permission to sell the product.
The requirements for a letter of authorization are:
- 'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property
- 'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.
- ‘Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted
- ‘Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)
- ‘Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)
What global brand are you selling? Do you have a letter of authorization or a licensing agreement from the brand? Please keep in mind that not all rights or brand owners grant permission to seller who want to sell their products.
The seller forums team, community and I are here to help. I would like to thank @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9, @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw, @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC and @Seller_APRtaC6lplB3D for their engagement and assistance. If you have additional questions or concerns, please let us know here in this thread.
