Including Manufacturer Details on Products According to GPSR Policy

Under the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR), it is mandatory to include manufacturer details on products. However, as a brand owner who sources stock directly from China, I need to clarify whether it is permissible to add your company's details as the manufacturer on my product labels. This is to ensure compliance with GPSR while maintaining my brand identity.

Hello @Seller_M1M9XtNu96ADm,

in order to comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) I found this:

"You or your supplier must also appoint an EU-based Responsible Person for your products.

You must then label those products with the contact information of the manufacturer and Responsible Person, and, if applicable, of the importer, including the postal and electronic address, in one of the EU’s official languages. Where the manufacturer and importer’s addresses are different, you must also include the postal or electronic address of the single contact point at which they can be contacted."

If you are not sure how to comply with the Regulation or have questions about your specific circumstances, I recommend to consult a legal counsel as this is an EU regulation.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Emma
