402 of the last 425 Orders over the last 36 hours still "Open Orders" /"Awaiting Payment Verification"
I've been selling on Amazon with FBA for 6+ years and I'm familiar with the ins-and-outs. We ship with FBA primarily, but over the last 36-48 hours almost ALL orders (95 of 97) are still "Open Orders" / Pending / "Awaiting Payment Verification". Over the last 3 days, 402 of 425 orders are still Open / Pending / Awaiting Payment.
The Help Docs suggested contacting Support to ensure the account/product - so we did. They insist there's nothing wrong but they really seem invested in refusing to help.
Has anyone seen anything like this?

Do you sell anything that is seasonal? I sell a lot of items that orders come in from school systems and teachers.
Invariably the teacher or administrator will use the school system card but the name and address will not match what is on the account and it will have to get 'reconciled.'
I have seen those take a week (or longer) while the wonderful education system tries to figure out the process.

Dominic from Amazon here, want to provide additional context.
On the Manage orders page, an order with a status of Pending might indicate an issue with the buyer's payment method or a convenience store payment method. In some cases, our payment and order detail verification processes can potentially extend order processing times for as long as 21 days.
If this is happening with almost all your orders contacting support would be the right next step.
