Duplicate order

When processing customer orders, I am usually the one that prints packing slips and shipping labels, and my associate is the one that packages the orders.

He had pointed out that he sees 2 separate orders for the same item, going to the same person at the same address. I asked him if they each have a packing slip and a shipping label, and he said they did. So I told him well, we still have to send both out. If We get 2 orders that each have a packing slip and I was able to buy shipping for both orders while using buy shipping in bulk then we have to send both out.

About a week later, I received a return request for this order. Following that return request, I noticed multiple return requests for the same order ID. Each using a different return reason.

She stated in her first request "I ordered one and then suddenly it said unavailable and then I ordered another one and that said unavailable. Next thing you know, I have 2 orders coming."

The other request said "This was a duplicate order, and the return label wouldn't print so now I have to pay. THIS SUCKS!" and "This item was an overpriced Duplicate. I couldn't print the label."

I had also seen 3 more return requests that are suddenly not showing up under my returns.

I am trying to locate this order and cannot find it aside from the one order that was returned. I know I bought shipping for 2 orders. The customer is also stating that 2 orders was processed, but its suddenly not there.

I have tried running reports to try and locate the other order and I do not see it. I have tried downloading the end of day shipping label but for that particular day and it says there is an error but for some reason I am able to download the same report from 3 months ago? Does any one know where I may be able to find and locate this order?

Why do I care to locate it?

The return request that she ended up using for the return was the "overpriced duplicate" which was translated by Amazon to mean inauthentic. Not only did I end up sending an order out that she was probably not charged for, all of my listings are currently inactive. I have tried explaining the situation to no avail. I am waiting in hopes of it being escalated.

Either way, I would like to locate that order and am unable to do so. There has to be some record of it some where. Even if I am able to get the end of day report for shipping, I can take it to USPS and they can probably find the other order shipping information.

Does anyone know why I am unable to load this information and what I can do to locate it? Thanks.
