Our product brand name has been changed to someone else's

We have had a few ASIN's changed into other brand names which are not associated with the product, these are our branded products which we own the trademark and also have a GS1 certificate for.

Product details such as description, images or title has stayed the same, for example you can still see our actual brand name in the title or images. We have lost access to editing our product detail pages as we no longer are the "brand owner" and dont have selling benefits for those ASIN's

When contacting seller support we get told that the ASIN is controlled by the brand owner when clearly the brand name has been changed and taken from us? We keep going in circles with no solution.

The majority of these products are inactive with no other sellers selling the product, obviously because it is our product and we do not supply or allow anyone else to resell.

Any solutions?

Sorry no - we've heard this story before. What is odd is how the brand name can be changed in the first place, by someone who...is not the brand owner.

This happened to me recently - whilst my listing were closed and I was on hols.

Seller support were not helpful at all so an email to the MD saying this amounted to fraud got the item changed back pdq. Unfortunately I have lost the email otherwise I would have given you a template.

Email the MD - Good luck

You should be able to contest this if the Barcode is still the same. You'll just need to supply the evidence that the product details for that Barcode are wrong by showing the product details in the GS1 database.

If you can get a screen grab of the product page from back before it was hijacked, that will help as well.

If you keep getting nowhere, escalate to Managing Director next.
