Account has been deactivated in accordance with Section 3 of the Business Solutions Agreement

I received this email:

"Dear Seller,

Your Amazon selling account has been deactivated in accordance with Section 3 of the Business Solutions Agreement. Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement can be found here.

Why is this happening?

We have reviewed your account and would like to confirm your identity.

How do I verify my identity?

To verify your identity, you need to complete virtual identity verification over a video interview. To reserve a time slot for the interview, fill out the form here."

And I have a question, do you think this is deliberately done so that you are first admitted to the account and then deactivated, or is it a mistake in the logic of the account registration sequence?

So I guess there is a time lag when someone checks the account by some criteria, and there may be a request for additional documents. That's normal. But it is not normal to interrupt the activity of a company that has already placed an order to the manufacturer's factory, and which at the moment has no opportunity to take up the listing because the account is deactivated.

Schedule an appointment or make the account status “Pending,” but don't put a sticking point in it. I haven't had a chance to do any listings, but I've already placed an order with the factory, and is there any way I could hurt consumers or Amazon?

I think that Amazon could think not only about its business processes, which as we can see are not always perfect, but about how we sellers try and often take risks, while paying for everything to amazon, and we are amazon's golden fund.

It’s a pity that this post will not be seen by the manager who can influence this.

"do you think this is deliberately done so that you are first admitted to the account and then deactivated, or is it a mistake in the logic of the account registration sequence?"

NOTE -- nearly ALL accounts get suspended immediately after they are opened while Amazon verifies your information so unless they sent you a suspension notice asking for more information it is most likely just temporary.

As long as you didn't lie or play "cute" with your information everything should get done in a week or so -- sometimes less, sometimes more.

Since you are new just be sure to follow the requirements for the new, improved Amazon.

DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?

DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK.

NOTE the verification from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products".

If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.

Spend hours/days on Seller U and read the Forum to see all the really creative ways rookies find to get suspended by ignoring the advice above!
