Suspended for Inauthentic ADIDAS yet purchased from ADIDAS directly
Seller for over 10+ years. My Amazon seller account is suspended for selling authentic Adidas trainers that were purchased from Adidas brand directly. Provided overwhelming evidence to dispute claim, all of which falls on deaf ears. Can anyone advise?!
I have provided receipt but it is over 365 days. It was slow selling item.I have accepted responsibility for my mistake. Submitted several POAs. Spoke to Amazon Health Support several times. Just getting generic responses.

Sorry about what happened to your account. Unfortunately in the forums, as you've seen, almost everyone is about telling you how wrong you were and you should be banished from existence. It's a shame, it really is. You worked hard for 10 years, probably tried to do everything as best as you could and provided good customer service, and then you get suspended immediately for one infraction that isn't even a bad one since you actually sold the authentic item and Amazon hasn't gated the brand.
Bottom line is you don't deserve to be suspended for that. Amazon should be better than that. There are SOOOOOO MANY sellers that deserve to be suspended that are out there purposefully ripping people off with actual counterfeit products, stealing listings, shipping products to wrong addresses on purpose to get the sale, and horrible feedback to match. Do they get suspended for one infraction? Of course not.
And it's a shame that Amazon just simply doesn't gate the brand. Everyone has to point out the instructions on the "seller application" for a different brand, but that has NOTHING to do with it. Zero. There is no seller application for this brand. So quoting words on a seller application for another brand is meaningless.
If Amazon were actually serious about every seller being "authorized to sell" on their platform, there wouldn't be any Lego listings, except for Amazon. And sooooo many of the other brands as well. But that would mean a huge loss of $$$ for Amazon. So it's sellers that like yourself that fall into that unfair crack in the system. I hope you are able to get your account back. You don't deserve a full suspension, at all, for one mistake. Especially when there are sooo many other bad players out there that are actually, and obviously, selling counterfeit items, stealing listings, and intentionally robbing actual customers. Those are the sellers that deserve zero second chances. Not you.

You say you have been a seller for 10+ years but I have to guess that you have NOT been a seller on Amazon for very long at all.
EDIT -- ANOTHER POST INDICATES THEY HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 9+ YEARS. THEY PROBABLY WERE ALLOWED TO SELL UNDER THE OLD RULES BUT NEVER BOTHERED TO KEEP UP WITH POLICY SINCE THIS IS THEIR FIRST POST .
You have obviously NOT read or studied Seller U (https://sell.amazon.com/learn) or studied the Forum for all the dozens/hundreds of sellers suspended for doing what you tried to do.
You missed ALL the important parts --
Here are the NEW rules for selling on the ‘new and improved’ Amazon.
The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
HINT -- THE ANSWER TO THIS IS NO -- YOU DID NOT!
Have you verified with the BRAND that your distributor IS an authorized wholesale distributor for ALL of their products. Some wholesalers are only allowed to distribute portions of a product line.
NOTE – FOR 'GATED' CATEGORIES' DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD. If you have to 'apply to sell' you WILL need an INVOICE from an AUTHORIZED distributor and not a receipt.
Be sure to thank all the YouTube and TikTok producers for all the help they will offer on your suspension appeal.

Receipt is the magic word.
Ten years? No way.
Invoices are accepted, along with a signed letter of authorization from the brand, not receipts.

So did this include your Letter of Authorization from Adidas, authorizing you to sell their products on Amazon? That should pretty much cover it.
But if you don't have authorization DIRECTLY FROM THE BRAND, then you likely have no recourse.
Doesn't matter that your RECEIPT is over 365 days; you need an INVOICE, as well as the previously mentioned LoA.

Wow, and never read the forum? All these threads about NIKE, Marvel, Funko Pop, Adidas which ended in the suspension of thousands of seller accounts?

Let's go with 9+
"QualityBrands .... They have been selling on the Amazon.com marketplace since 2014."
Which means you should know better.
That said ....
That is all that Seller Performance is allowed to give. They must use pre-approved templates.
No doubt your appeal isn't working and for sure your receipt is not acceptable.
If you want advice on your appeal then post it. If you want my advice tag me or I'll never know you posted (the NSFE SUCS in this area!)
Here's a basic outline to get you started BUT know this new twist from Amazon - from what I've seen the last year + they will not trust any of your inventory in this category.
Authenticity Account Suspension (Mod posted and edited by me)
--Root Cause
- What led buyers to perceive your item(s) as inauthentic? (Check Feedback, Reviews and Voice of the Customer)
- How do you currently ensure the products you ship are authentic and match your product listing?
- Your process - How do you currently ensure your supplier(s) provide authentically sourced products?
--Corrective Measures
- [IMPORTANT] If you had an ASIN Level Authenticity Complaint violation did you address it first?
- How did you handle the affected listing(s)?
- How did you handle any buyer complaints?
- Within your business, did you do anything else? Have you gone through your inventory to inspect your listings?
--Preventive Measures
- How do you plan to address the root causes you have identified?
- What steps will your business now take to verify the authenticity of your products before listing them for sale on Amazon?
- Do you have a process for vetting your suppliers prior to orders your products?
- What steps will your business take to ensure you only source from reliable suppliers/sources?
- Do you have any products with valid invoices (not receipts) for sale or to list on Amazon?

Amazon doesn't want that .... and I doubt it would matter any. They'd just get someone to take the test for them. 😅

Hello @Seller_wDPri3DHxWNcO
Thank you for the information provided regarding the violation for the brand Adidas. I understand you have provided invoices and it has been rejected. You mention having accepted responsibility for the mistake that occurred, could you provide additional context to what specifically occurred that caused this?
For your sourcing, you mention acquiring product directly from the brand, do they also provide to you a letter of authorization? This document would need to explicitly state you have permission to list the product on the platform. As seen in our anti-counterfeit policy, inauthentic product can be product that has not been given explicit authorization to be listed on the platform.
If you have any additional details to share or questions regarding how to proceed, continue to refer here for support.
Best,
Atlas

I'm starting to think that a few brands, such as Nike, Adidas, and a handful of others, ARE the test. Sellers who attempt to sell unauthorized brands such as these obviously do not know nor care what they are doing; it's a quick filter to get rid of at least a significant number of the totally clueless, who are attracted to these off-limits brands like moths to a flame (with similar results).

Sorry, no longer can do. If you ordered for this purpose then you are out of luck. Receipt means nothing.
