Does the ASIN ratings on "Voice of the Customer" affect your listings?

Do poor and very poor rating on "Voice of the Customer" affect listings negatively?

I.e. you go down in search results?

Hello @Seller_E9HxzTBGni0f2

Thank you this good question!

Here Voice of the Customer you can review information about this metric. Let´s wait for other sellers to share their feedback.

Hope this helps!

Julia.

Well this is idiotic.

Looking at my four VERY POOR VotC ratings, they seem to have been compiled from Amazon reading correspondence between myself and the customers. The four problem items are as follows:

1/ Customer expecting new item (because it's Amazon) but bought used (correctly labelled as such) from us and queried this.

2/ Customer misread a different seller's description before buying from us. We clarified why no one-off freebie was sent.

3/ We noticed pages had been ripped from a book after listing and before sale and notified customer that replacing it (and sending) undamaged item would cause a slight delay.

4/ Professional re-seller bought correctly listed (from barcode) item but got a refund because it had different cover art to what they expected.

In all four cases I was monitored while sending out fairly normal customer service messages; I would hate for these to start counting against my seller metrics.

Very poor indeed!

The poor and very poor ratings can sometimes happen with just 1 customer negative experience. So if you get these don't worry about it as normally Amazon just do nothing.

Amazon can block a listing if you get multiple customer negative experiences on it and sometimes they can raise product condition complaints as well based on customer feedback.

Normally though if you just have a single negative customer experience it makes no difference to your account.
