Inactive brand with no trademark has all the asins We use

We have been selling under "our" brand name for almost a decade now. I understand that we don't own the name on amazon with out being brand registered and have not been brand registered this entire time. We attempted long ago to trademark our brand name and registered our brand in brand registry however our trademark was denied due to the name being too common and so our brand registration went into inactive status however we have continued to list products with out issue for years now. Now out of the blue all of our products are tied to our inactive registered brand that has nothing but a dead trademark. I am being told that i need to register the brand in order to edit and list under the listings. We would like to continue using these listings.

Hi there @Seller_Vb7IxfWCGirTK,

I've done some research into your Case and this issue and there appears to be a misunderstanding between Brand Registry and Brand Approval. Brand Registry requires a trademark but Brand Approval is required to demonstrate your Brand is not yet Authorized to be sold on Amazon. You can review the help page Error code 5665 and approval requirements to see steps to resolve this error. If you provide the information requested it should lift many of the barriers you are experiencing. If you get stuck in this process please provide your new Case ID and I will review further. Thank you for your understanding.
