Brand Approval - Sam's Club
I’m trying to get brand approval and I purchased 10 items from Sam’s Club. Are they not considered a distributor?

Sam's Club is a retailer. You need wholesale invoices and a letter from the manufacturer giving you permission to sell their branded items on Amazon.

See if you can return the items, or sell them on Ebay. You just get a receipt from Sam's Club, like you would if you went to Walmart.
You need approval from those brand owner of those 10 products.
In the future, be careful. Sometimes you don't get asked for paperwork, and end up getting suspended for selling this way.
Amazon expects you to read their terms of service, and they dont give 2nd chances, for not knowing them. This was luck for you.
Try finding something unique, or brand your own item. Do some good research. Don't listen to the You Tube get rich quick people.
Good luck!

In addition to what @Seller_MyXY4Myx9zVcR and @Seller_WBnGS7Ix3XiDX have stated, MOST of the following is directed to any other sellers that have not paid attention to the requirements for Amazon since you are extremely close to being suspended on.
They are being kind. Me, not so much --
HINT #1 -- VACATION MODE -- NOW!
HINT #2 -- SELLER U -- NOW!
https://sell.amazon.com/learn
HINT #3 -- Start writing your "please help with my Section 3 suspension' letter NOW. It will save you time when you get it.
For any other sellers that are still selling things based on policies from the past 10 or 20 years here is the new, improved, version of Amazon that you seem to have missed.
NOT paying attention to the following is a perfect example of how to get suspended on the NEW Amazon.
BEFORE listing anything (or even looking at the calculator) ask yourself these questions --
DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?
Comment -- NO, you do not!
DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK.
Comment -- NO, you did not.
NOTE the verification is required from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT from one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products" that assures you that they are authorized.
If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.
Spend hours/days on Seller U and read the Forum to see all the really creative ways rookies (and even experienced sellers that have not kept up with the changes made by Amazon) find to get suspended by ignoring the advice above!

"Are they not considered a distributor?"
Yes, they are but so is WalMart, BestBuy. Home Depot and so am I and any other SELLER.
You need to ask "Are they an AUTHORIZED WHOLESALE distributor."

Hi @Seller_0g5chbNOJrTP9,
Michelle at Amazon here. Sam's Club is not a distributor, so no, the receipts you get will not be accepted. I see that other sellers have given you some great information. Here is a post that will show you how to improve your odds of getting approved.
As a new seller, you may find the New Seller Community a group you may want to join.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
