Ive heard stories of people trying to get their money for years. Unfortunately amazon can do what they want as its in their policy.

Funny that the HMRC still class that money as income though although you cant touch it and amazon 100% controls it. The whole system is corrupt.

Amazon get to do what they want with your money (Its their money really until its your because you cant stop them) but for Tax Purposes its your money. The whole system is a joke

All you Said Amazon holding your money that is it . Wy are they holding your money? I do not think they will hold your money just because they wanted. They must give you a reason. You must have received an e mail or performance notification. If Amazon believes that you are a risk for whatever the reason is, money ie held in case people need their refund. If your money held for no reason, then you need to find the right department and communicate with amazon so they can release your fund which might just be an technical error. Under the normal Circumstances with no reason amazon will not hold your money unless there is an error and you can just try to create a case and communicate. We wll tel the story of other but never look at ourselves to see have we done anything wrong. Legal way, Amazon or no other places can hold your funds with no reason and i do not think they will hold anyone funds for no reason. I would check my health page performance notification and see why this funds being held and try to rectify the mistake or whatever you have done. If you have not done anything wrong you need to find a way and most cases create a case and try to resolve this and you will get help from amazon.

Have you tried your MP? There have been calls in Parliament around Amazon's withholding payments to sellers so you may find a willing ear.

Have you tried Mediation? This maybe a quicker step to resolve the issue than taking Amazon to court.

Looking at your previous threads I can see you raised threads about this company name change and also that Amazon said you owe 15K in VAT.

Are you sure that Amazon have frozen your funds because of the name change or is it because they think you owe unpaid VAT?

Since my issue in the past, I now follow a strict daily request for funds, so Amazon only hold onto a minimum amount.

are you sure its actually the same 9K, and not a rolling balance, meaning the 9K from feb has already been paid and a new 9K since then has been added to your rolling balance?

If youve not made any sales since Feb and still had no payouts, then thats a sign that the money is just sitting there.

But if you have an active account, consistently selling and getting regular payouts, then the old 9K has been paid out, and your new witheld money is whats sitting there. You need to get accustomed to there ALWAYS being a huge chunk of cash sitting in Amazon's pockets....
