international shipping offered when I never checked any international shipping boxes as options
I have been selling on Amazon as a professional seller for almost 25 years..I just recently switched my account to individual because of lack of sales..I havent sold internationally for almost 20 years. somehow my listings have international shipping as an option when I never checked any box to sell internationally as an option. How did this happen and why? I currently took my account on vacation until this is sorted..can someone at Amazon explain to me how these international shipping boxes got checked without me ever checking them and how and why should I handle an international order when I never had the sku set up for international shipping and how did this box get checked without me checking it?

You are going to have to check each SKU to make sure that international is not allowed. On the individual account you have no other way to control that.
Even though Amazon did this to you when you switched to individual, they will not correct or change anything. This will be your job.
For the current order you can ship at a loss or cancel.
If you cancel, BEFORE you cancel it -- send an apology and explanation to the buyer. Let them know that what may appear to be a charge for this order is just the hold that Amazon places on their card as soon as they order. Since the order is being canceled, that hold will just drop off after a few days.

You must learn to distrust Seller Support. When they don't know they just make things up.
You should at least examine several of your SKUs to see if you are offering international.

I had the same issue another time and we had to cancel the order. Amazon support doesn't help at all.
But Amazon can do worse: I have been selling on Amazon for almost 10 years and these days we decided to start selling on Amazon Spain, Germany, and France. We just found out they were already selling a lot of all our products in those stores and, basically, if I wanted to sell my products there I would have to compete with Amazon's offers of my own products. We were still solving the case since we never authorized Amazon to sell our items anywhere.
One thing is for sure: Amazon does what Amazon wants.
