INVOICES & UNGATING
Hi i am a new seller here doing A LOT of research. i am struggling with understanding somethings
1. Lets say i found amazing discounted products that i want to resell but did not get them from a distributor or manufacturer but from a retail store. How do i go about getting ungated if an invoice is required?
2. I dont necessarily want to sell 10,000 of 1 product i want to sell many different products since ive found such good deals. is this something thats doable with selling on amazon since i wont be dealing with distributors or manufacturer?
just looking for guidance with invoices and ungating i find it very hard to find a distributor to purchase items from that are actually worth a profit. as opposed to me doing retail arbitrage

STOP-You have not been doing the right research! Have you gone through Amazon's Seller University? DO NOT BUY from a retail store, you will only get receipts when you need legit invoices.

Amazon is not the correct selling platform for the kind of selling you want to do. The type of selling that you are interested in would be Ebay. Amazon is interested in long term products and products that build a reputation. Amazon is not a close out or short term product platform. You cannot sell any random BRAND on Amazon without BRAND authorization. You can only get BRAND authorization FROM THE BRAND DIRECTLY. Most BRANDS as well as Amazon require an inventory of at least 100.
Ungate Amazon Approval is NOT Brand Authorization. You need BOTH to sell on Amazon.

In addition to TVOI's suggestion above we'd also strongly recommend going through Seller University, with modules like Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell. Sourcing and Brand Authorization are imperative to selling on the platform, and violations would be subject to account suspension and beyond. The process described in the original post here would not be compliant with Amazon policies.
Additionally, you may find the New Seller Community here on the forums of interest with thousands of other sellers also starting their journey like you.
