ICO- Data protection Fee

Hi there,

i opened my uk seller account to sell in the uk in August and have received a letter from companies House today saying i need to pay the ICO a data protection fee before this December, if not i could face a fine.

Is this true? Do i need to pay?

You can get information on the ICO website about that fee. I can't provide a link as it's not allowed, but there's a self-help tool which will tell you whether you are liable and how to declare exemption if not.

Just look it up on the ICO website. There's even a self assessment form on there that advises if you need to pay and how miuch
