Asked for new documentation
I have been asked for new documentation on items I applied for. So, I go buy from the main brand store and the reply I get is "provide new documentation" then buy from a different supplier and same Thing. Then i cannot reapply, just asks to reply to message. reply to message then hear nothing for weeks?

STOP!!!!!! Why do you think it is beneficial to skip watching and educating yourself with the FREE Amazon University Videos???
You CANNOT buy a product from a retail source (store, market, online) and expect that you can turn around and sell that product on Amazon.
When you buy retail you are given a RECEIPT not an INVOICE. An INVOICE has specific information that confirms that your product was bought authentically. You need an invoice not receipt to give Amazon when you apply to sell.
Another thing ....You need a letter of authorization directly from the MANUFACTURER that authorizes YOU to be allowed to sell that BRAND on Amazon. If you do not get a letter of authorization from the BRAND, Amazon will seize your inventory and deactivate your account.
Everyone confuses being UNGATED/APPROVED by Amazon with being legally authorized to sell BRAND products on Amazon. YOU STILL NEED BRAND APPROVAL FROM THE BRAND!!!!
Step 1...Watch Amazon University Videos
Step 2...Get Brand approval
Step 3...Get Amazon approval
Step 4.... Do NOT buy from a retail source!!!
Instead of waiting for Amazon to approve you (which will not happen the way you are applying), you need to spend weeks watching the Amazon University Videos!!!

Good Evening @Seller_u9L5rROim5ruQ,
It appears @Seller_R6Pw3cjCRwLNP has shared their guidance on best practices when submitting selling applications.
Without a CASE ID, I am unable to fully investigate why your selling applications may not be going through. If you could share your CASE IDs that would be helpful in my investigation.
In my experience dealing with selling applications, if no new information is submitted, then the applications will auto-close until new information is added to the appeal.
To help better understanding the selling application process, I wanted to share some help pages that have helped sellers starting with the link for Amazon's Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements.
Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:
Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
As @Seller_R6Pw3cjCRwLNP alluded to, a letter of authorization can be a valuable to your appeal in these situations if you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.
I also wanted to share our Seller University resource that addresses Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell.
Lastly, if you have a relationship with the brand/publisher, you can to be added as an authorized 3rd party reseller through Brand Registry (but the brand has to add you on their end). Once that has occurred you can attempt to list again and if you still have any issues reach out to support letting them know you are now in the brand's Brand Registry approved list.
As this seems to be your first post on the forums, I wanted to "plus 1" the recommendation to check out Seller University that way you can avoid unnecessary fees, confusion about how to add a product and be aware of penalties that may occur on your Selling Account if policies are broken.
If you are not a part of the New Seller Community, I would highly suggest joining and reviewing the content in that group as well.
Please carefully review all the feedback that @Seller_R6Pw3cjCRwLNP, Selling Partner Support, and I have shared as we want to make sure you don't begin your selling journey on the wrong foot.
Let us know if you have any questions about any of the information provided above or you can reach out to Selling Partner Support at anytime. Have a terrific rest of your week.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
