Amazon have delisted our Hazmat product (containing OUST descaling solution) due to 'conflicting SDS'
We have an ASIN which was - until a week ago - selling really well. It's an inflatable hot tub descaling kit, selling 200+ units per week
It has been classified as HAZMAT as it contains a sachet of OUST descaling solution. We submitted the SDS about 15-18 months ago, and all was good. All of a sudden, Amazon decides that the SDS is conflicting, after all this time!
Last week, the DG team came back with "From time to time we carry out Hazmat checks. Section 11 of the SDS states the product is toxic, and section 14 states it is non-hazardous" I'd like to know how they can say this after all this time? Equally - if this is true, then ALL of the OUST descaling solution ASIN's on Amazon will have the same issue, surely?!
I have contacted Henkel, the UK's head office, and they said the 2023 version of the SDS is the most recent
If Henkel aren't prepared to re-write an SDS, and the Amazon bots are just going to bat back the same answer, what can I do?
Any help on this would be very much appreciated
