Safe-T-Claim Granted $4.99 on shipping 0.00 on opened new merch returned

How is this possible. Customer buys new sealed record. "Not what I expected" was reason for return. Returns opened and cover bent.

Get notification that safe-t-claim granted. Super. No, just the shipping.

Appeal. Nothing. Another appeal. Nothing. It is as if speaking to a wall. Forget damage--it was returned opened.

I am fighting this right now with a CD the buyer opened and returned as 'defective' (she bought a Sinatra CD with recordings from the 1930s/40s and she found them too tinny sounding).

Amazon refunded at first scan.

I opened a safe T claim to get my restocking fee, as I am entitled to by Amazon policy. Instead they refunded outgoing shipping and return shipping. I don't even know WHY they refunded the 99 cent outbound shipping cost. I suspect these are initially handled by bots like everything else around here.

But of course they are playing games with me now. I am entitled to $8.99 for the restocking fee. They keep coming back with like $2 here, $1.50 there....still not at $8.99.

They still owe me $4.41 and I am pursuing it to the last CENT. Yes I have the time--I have no sales these days so I can focus on other things like safe T claimes, etc. (Hint, hint Amazon--throw some sales my way and you might distract me from filing for all of these reimbursements....).

I got a swictheroo return from FBA. They keep fighting me on that also.

All I am doing these days is processing fraudulent seller-faulted returns for these entitled, Amazon-enabled thieves...I pulled all of my CDs from here last week since the last few I sold were 'defective' despite being new/sealed going out the door...then I have to spend weeks getting reimbursed.

I am starting to pull out of this platform. It is sickening what it has become.

Hi there @Seller_EGAYxdv2MmpO0- and thank you for highlighting this claim scenario.

I was able to take a look through the details, and see our team requested: "An image of the return mailing label on the package. Do not use the digital file or the RMA image."

But, from what I can see, only images of the damaged record and an open box was provided, which resulted in the claim decision at hand. If you have the requested image and have the ability to submit it with another appeal, please do so.

I can appreciate the frustration, but would also request treating claim investigators with respect when submitting claim information.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

-Danny
