Amazon lost 1,700+ units ($50K), and will not respond to case log for recon

Like the title says, they lost 1,700+ units on a shipment sent and received last September (worth over $50k). They would not allow me to open recon until January 2nd. I did that day, and have checked in every few days since with a 'hello, reminding you about this case'. They ignore me. I've supplied them with BOLs, etc... radio silence from them.

We're a small business, and this missing amount is hurting our cash flow. Case ID : 16950238231

It seems people have been posting their issues on these forums for Amazon's attention, so here I am too. Any suggestions would be helpful. AMAZON - PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, thank you,

UPDATE : it's been 5+ months, and the best I get is Amazon randomly reaching out saying ' we're still looking into this.'. That's all.

I reviewed Case 16950238231 and see that it is still open and pending the next step of the investigation process. While it is at this stage I do not have any options for escalation.

Please keep monitoring the case for updates, and follow up here if you would still like assistance once it is resolved.

Amazon is going to ignore, you and then in 6 months they will deny your many claims.

soon after you will notice your inventory being sold on Amazon. You will not be able to do anything about it due to Amazon forcing you into arbitration.

Amazon used the new OTDR metric to try to nudge sellers into FBA; so they can continue to steal from their sellers.

Good Luck, They lost 10K of my FBA shipment and pretty much told me too bad. I stopped FBA, I can ship my own and now I have better control.

Remember, every time you send an additional email, the previously sent one gets canceled out and you start the wait all over.

I do not mean to be the bearer of bad news, but this happened to me back in 2022 June it was over $8000 worth of profit. I did every single step that Amazon asked me to do just for them to ignore me I had all of my receipts for every item that was sent in, they never reimbursed me my money. By mid 2023, I became 100% FBM and Amazon has still figured out ways to rob me. Now in 20205 80% of my business is on eBay with the last 20% still here on Amazon. Everyone that I know from when I first started selling on Amazon has moved on or in the process of moving on to something else.
