Any Idea? This product is not approved for sale on Amazon.co.uk as we have been advised by MHRA that it satisfies the first and/or second limb of the definition of a "medicinal product"

Hello.

Can someone please urgently look at ASIN B01HUMLZH2.

Cleanmarine MenoMin

ASIN B01HUMLZH2

SKU NOV014

Our product has been removed from sale for the following reason:

This product is not approved for sale on Amazon.co.uk as we have been advised by the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) that it satisfies the first and/or second limb of the definition of a "medicinal product", and does not have appropriate authorisation under the UK Human Medicines Regulations. If you have further enquiries regarding the removal of your product, please contact the MHRA via the following email address: [removed email]. Seller Central pages: [removed URL]  Further information on prohibited and restricted products on Amazon.co.uk can be found on our Seller Central help pages: [removed url]

We leveraged a combination of automated means to identify this issue and to make this decision.

We have had no correspondence from the MHRA. We have emailed them, they have not replied.

We have asked the Seller Support team to confirm the exact reason for removing our product, they’ve not told us?

We have seen selling this product for over 10 years. It is sold in the UK and EMEA marketplaces, by some of the biggest retailers, we are baffled as to why you’ve removed this from sale on your site, with no pre warning or chance to discuss?

It would appear to be a food supplement and its not particularly clear why it would be removed.

Have you reached out to Cleanmarine? The only thing I can possibly see that might be an issue is that the packaging has changed and the image (at least what was on camelcamelcamel) is the old packaging?

Keep on emailing the MHRA, eventually they will respond, it just takes some persistence, then they will state exactly what was wrong with the listing, sometimes a slight wording issue sends it into the medicinal claim category. You have to be really careful.

Once you confirm the new wording for your listing with them and they are satisfied, screenshot the confirmation they send you and ask them to send the confirmation they are satisfied to amazon, after a few days if you hear nothing (which you likely wont) open a case with amazon and include the screenshot where they stated they were happy.

You may need to back and forth here a bit also as you may get the inital copy paste rubbish asking you to contact MHRA before someone notices you actually have.

After this, they should reinstate the product, provided MHRA did their bit.

MHRA literally did a sweep of any Menopause / Menstural related products a few days back.

Good Luck!
