VTR and On time Delivery low due to Amazon error, what will happen?
Hi, everyone, my VTR and Ontime Delivery rates are low due to a glitch Amazon has in reporting tracking since they moved to Ground Advantage. Basically, I had approximately 200 orders over the 30 day time period with Amazon saying I had only 5 and 4. (I mostly have Media Mail and apparently the programmers neglected to include them in metrics.)Only one order had invalid tracking and 1 had late delivery.
I was wondering is 1) Amazon is going to correct this problem. and 2) Is my account in danger ?

Thank you for the information provided regarding the valid tracking rate. I understand that you have some concerns with where the metric is currently. You mention having had 200 orders that aren’t registering, were those orders exempt? If those orders were exempt, you may not see them on the valid tracking rate report.
If there were any non-exempted shipments that did not have valid tracking, then they would show up on the report. When you selected the shipping for the orders, did you select “USPS – Media Mail” from the drop down? Did you attempt to manually put the method in? If the drop down was not utilized, then this could cause the information to be invalid.
For your account, you will want to monitor the metric. Depending on the overall volume, you may or may not see a significant impact to your metric with one order. If the metric drops below the target of 95%, this could put your account at risk. For more information regarding valid tracking, check out the attached resources.
Be sure to watch for any messaging or requests for additional information. If you do not receive any requests, then no action is being required. In this scenario, you will continue to monitor and attempt to address any issues that do come up.
