"Exceeds maximum 0 images. Only 0 images were uploaded. The following were not uploaded:"

Hi there

I am frustratingly trying to upload images (that I have uploaded before???) for my variations. "Exceeds maximum 0 images. Only 0 images were uploaded. The following were not uploaded:" continuously comes up - what am I doing wrong?

I just wanted to check in and see if you were able to resolve your issue with uploading images for your variations?

According to other threads with this similar issue, a best practice when creating variations, is to upload the corresponding size image to each child ASIN as images are not added on the Parent level of an ASIN.

I also see that you have not reached out to Selling Partner Support regarding this issue. If it is still troubling you, I would recommend creating a detailed case sharing:

  • The ASINs you are trying to add images to (distinguishing children vs parent ASINs)
  • Steps you are taking to add the images
  • Screenshot of the error message you are receiving
  • If you are using a feed, please share the Batch ID
  • Share any additional information that might help the representative

Feel free to post the CASE ID in this discussion once you have contacted support so we can follow the case along to the conclusion. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Hope you have a great rest of the week.
