Misguided Fake Claim
Hi all! I need a professional advise.
One of the buyer has left a seller feedback, claiming that my product was a fake one which is definitely incorrect and misguiding. And that is why Amazon has removed the listing and my account is currently at risk of deactivation since this claim has a high impact. When I contacted the buyer and asked how she determined that the item was a fake one, she could only tell that the product was quite different than what she bought before. When I said that the product was imported from another country and not produced for UK market, she immediately apologized for her claim. But Amazon is still enforcing me to provide an invoice from my supplier's supplier as a proof which I am unable to do so since I have already provided my invoice issued by my supplier. So now, I am being enforced to accept the anti-counterfeit policy violation which means accepting selling a fake product and which is totally unfair since that is not the case. Anybody who experienced a similar issue and can give me an advise how to proceed? TIA

Unfortunately you have just admitted above that the item is basically fake, in that you imported a similar product from another county, therefore it is not the actual product that is on sale, and hence you passing it off to be does make it a fake.
Think you are going to have accept the violation on this, as don't see how you are going to defend it, it is a parallel import and Amazon are correct in determining this as a violation.
If you are selling anything on Amazon, it has to be the Exact product, not something similar.

had similar case and had to provide supplier's supplier invoice.
Tried providing their contact details, website etc but nothing was accepted.
Amazon needs to verify the supply chain and to do that they are asking for the invoice.
I know its not as easy as they say and in some cases its impossible to provide one as they are under no obligation to provide this.
btw is it you listing and product or are you selling under someone's ASIN?

yep in the middle of it myself. Genuine product from reputable UK wholesaler, sent in invoice from 3 months ago but the issue in my case is that I buy rolls of product and cut them down. I was lucky that one roll had extra on it - bonus i thought - free stock - but now the amount on the invoice doesn't match the quantity I sent in. There is option to accept you can't sell the product without admitting fraud - which leaves you feeling sick - and now they are threatening to destroy the stock - i though I would atleast beable to get it returned to me - that 1mtr bonus on the roll is costing me my reputation and actual value of the stock.

Amazon really do make me laugh with their double standards.
Here are two examples. I am an MOD licensee permitted to sell military gifts & I pay a royalty on my sales. Last year Amazon removed 100s of my listings on the grounds of "the sale of items which may give rise to impersonation of law enforcement are not allowed on Amazon" Yet you can buy a kids dress up sheriff's badge being sold by Amazon prime.
Example two & more relevant to you. My wife recently bought two Man City shirts for one of our Grandsons from an Amazon Chinese seller.
These shirts are clearly fakes being sold at a fraction of the price.
Yes you could argue that my wife should not of supported this, however the point is Amazon must be aware that Chinese sellers are flooding the UK with fakes, but turn a blind eye for the revenue.
So are fakes OK when it suits Amazon?
