Received a "Counterfeit without a Test Buy" warning today, but we deleted the ASIN 3 days ago...how did we still get a defect?
We were selling a well known brand of cookies that had about a half dozen to a dozen sellers depending on the listing. 3 days ago, we received a defect for "Counterfeit without a Test Buy" for one of the ASINs. We had been selling these cookies for several years, so were surprised to get the defect, however it did look like the brand holder didn't want anyone to sell the items anymore, so okay, we decided to delete all ASINs related to that brand, and we will dispose of the stranded inventory.
However, today we received another defect for "Counterfeit without a Test Buy" for one of the listings we deleted 3 days ago. I don't understand how we got a warning if we had already deleted the listing several days ago. Can someone explain?

received a defect? Did you get any performance notification? Have any invoices been requested?
Usually simply deleting the products is not enough and as of recent times, without brand approved wholesale distributor invoices and Brand LOA all your products are considered counterfeit on Amazon.

consider yourself permanently suspended, funds confiscated and inventory, if at FBA, destroyed. ....
for more information search help for "sourcing guidelines" and "violation invoice requirements"
