Issue with Variation Theme on Product Detail Page – Color Selection Not Filtering Variations

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue with the variation theme on my product detail page. When a customer selects a color (such as Gold), only the variations in that specific color should be shown. However, currently all variations are displayed regardless of the selected color, which causes confusion for customers. This problem also occurs with the Silver color option and likely affects other colors as well.

I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would use the VARIATION WIZARD to download the variation family and look at the variation info to make sure you have the children's children set up correctly.

It should look something like this, although you have variations on your variations (didn't even know you could do that), so you'll have to account for that:

I have a product with a total of 18 variations — 9 styles, each available in 2 colors (Gold and Silver). For example: A - Silver, A - Gold, B - Silver, B - Gold, and so on. I want to display these using two variation themes: Color and Style Name, so that when a customer selects "Gold," they can see all 9 gold variations, and the same for "Silver."

Is it possible to set up my listing this way so the variations display as intended on the product detail page? If so, what's the best approach to achieve this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there @Seller_O96xeuysUYIZM,

It looks like you got your variation to present the way you want. However, I would like to advise you to ensure that you are using Variation Themes correctly. It looks like you might be using Size to represent Styles instead which might result in your variation being dismantled. You can review the Variation Policy Compliance page for more on this. Please ensure you are using the correct Variation Themes that are appropriate for your category. Thank you for your understanding.
