How do we make a claim against Evri when they lose an item that the buyer has sent using Amazon returns postage?
I find it strange that Amazon insist we get a signature from the customer to prove delivery when we use Amazon shipping or if it gets 'lost' we are responsible, yet when a buyer sends an item back with Amazon shipping we also somehow become responsible if it goes missing.
There must be a way to make a claim against someone as we never sent the item nor did we pay to have the item sent.

Amazon simply state that ‘you must claim via the courier’.
Evri will most likely in turn tell you that the label is an Amazon label and Amazon should claims.
You are however invoiced for the Evri labels by Grattan PLC for some reason, it can be done via Evri, though it’s not easy due to the nice little racket Amazon and Evri have set up.
