Is it finally time to leave Amazon?
I received a counterfeit claim on a product I've sold from the same distributor for 3 years. Worth noting, there was no actual claim to this product being counterfeit, someone simply commented it "didn't work as well as they remembered." At Amazon's request, I sent in all of my invoices, proof of delivery, authenticity guarantee and they still wouldn't accept it. I then had to meet with an Amazon representative and he requested I send EITHER a letter of authorization from the brand or upstream invoices, i.e., invoices from my supplier from the manufacturer. I was able to get the Letter of Authorization. I submitted it. After it was submitted they told me while I was told I needed either the LOA or the manufacturer invoices, I actually needed both. I was able to get the manufacturer invoices and haven't heard back after submitting.
This is insane and I think after over 3 years of selling I need to seriously take my time, energy and MONEY elsewhere.
