Amazon buy shipping for Prime is not protected
We use Amazon Buy Shipping on most orders including Prime orders because of the protection it offers for on time shipping. We ship using Amazon projected on time delivery by shipping carriers. However, we just found out that Prime is not protected using this service if late by the carrier. Has anyone else had this problem?

Amazon Buy Shipping protections
There are two types of protections available from Amazon Buy Shipping: Claims Protection and OTDR Protection.
For Claims Protection cases where Amazon manages the customer support through the Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) program, the SAFE-T claim process will be followed. Read more at Seller Fulfilled Prime refund reimbursement policy.
Frequently asked questions about on-time delivery rate (OTDR)
OTDR Protection is only available for units shipped through Standard Shipping. Units shipped through other shipping options such as Prime are not eligible for OTDR protection.
