VERY FRUSTRATING: My shipment was delivered on 08/23. Now is 09/26 and has not changed.
My best selling product has been shipped to amazon on August 15th (We checked 3 times the boxes and labelling to make sure everything is OK and good to go), 8 days later amazon marked the shipping as DELIVERED (08/23) and everything was going like planned, but since then it has been over 34 days and we are still waiting to have any news from amazon to mark our shipment as CHECKED IN and RECEIVED. I have spoke many times with customer service and they only told me to keep waiting with updated dates (first 09/10, then 09/25 and now 10/8) I have 2 screenshots of those dates.
It is very frustrating because now we have 0 stock of our best selling product, we have bad customer review since amazon marked our product as available to buy but many customers have complained about delivery time. Besides, our best seller ranking has gone up and all the effort we made to be in the first page is now disolved. It is very disappointing because also we bought a lot of inventory to supply our demand.
I now a lot of people has gone through this, but i am looking for some help and advice, it is frustrating when you are doing all the effort to keep growing and then everything starts to go backwards.
anyway, here is the shipping ID: FBA18B0SWWHY

What Amazon will not tell you is how many other seller's shipment arriver before yours. 250 or 750. Al you can do is wait and hope it does not end up on the LOST side of things. If things are not running smoothly at FBA enters now, just wait until the holiday season shopping has started.
Hope you test sold your product for a month or so using FBM, before sending to FBA. That wat you will know if there is enough profit in the product to pay all the fees FBA will assess, and still have your desired profit remaining for yourself to enjoy. Did you hold back some of the product? that way you could be selling the product now using FBM while you wait for the outcome of yourt situation.

We have the same issue...package shipped 8/13, delivered 8/27...originally said it would be eligible for investigation on 9/23...that has now been pushed back to 10/11. Fulfillment center it is at is RYY2 - Atlanta, GA...All told that will be 2 months before we are even allowed to ask about it. Time to available to sell has suffered quite a bit since they imposed all these placement fees that were supposed to get things where they needed to be faster. So once again paying more for worse service.

The same thing has happened with us with Shipment ID: FBA1894X4G67
We sent it on 7th August and it arrived (after being moved around multiple times with delivery attempts to RYY2) The shipment was signed for by Amazon on 27th August and has been sitting around ever since!
We have paid 250 USD + 150 USD in carrier costs and placement fees and we are out of stock on our products as we wait.
What is happening Amazon?

Same issue here. Customers purchase them and then cancel after a week or two of FBA still not shipping. Very frustrating.

I have found that it's often better not to ship one large shipment but to send 20% or 25% on each of 4 or 5 different days. It may cost more (can't do LTL) but usually they don't ALL get delayed . . . and often they go to different locations which also helps.

This happened to us too and when it was finally received they marked everything as defective, refused to investigate, and we had to pay to have it all sent back to us... only to find it was not defective.

All of our shipments take 2-3 months for them to finally get "closed".
Amazon takes their sweet time "receiving" units when all the while it causes low inventory fees, or your products are out of stock.
We created 5 shipments (different locations) on 9/18, out of those 5, two of them (according to the Amazon Shipment log) were picked up, delivered, checked in, and in receiving status all in the same day we created them.
They were scheduled to be picked up from our warehouse on 9/26. We sent in pics of the pallets showing they are still in our warehouse and there is no way these two shipments got to Pennsylvania and North Carolina in the same day because they never left our facility. So what exactly are they "receiving" is our question.?
You can only imagine the run a round we are getting from Seller Support. They do not pay attention or read thoroughly our complaints and look at the pics and screenshots we provided to them in the case.
So tired of having to waste so much time going back and forth constantly explaining the situation over and over.
Best of luck everyone as we head into the holiday season.

This is a common problem at Amazon facilities around the country which has worsened since Amazon started charging inventory placement fees months ago in 2024.
Then they keep moving out the date where you can open a case for reimbursement. They are trying their hardest to NOT reimburse you for the lost or stolen inventory...and good luck trying to find out if you were reimbursed for the Inventory Placement Fees for the inventory they NEVER "PLACED".
It's become criminal at this point. The holiday season is going to be a MESS at Amazon facilities.

Same here, and I sell Halloween costumes, with October being my only "black" month. MEM1.
Frustrating to see my top sellers go out of stock, while having tons of inventory sitting at MEM1 not received but getting charged storage. Then at the end of 10/31, I have to pay $$$ ($1.8 per item, right? I'm not really sure any more since they change the prices so often) to remove them, and find another warehouse to store for another year.
Looking at SKU Economics, I'm barely breaking even on most of my SKU's so I'm moving away from Amazon FBA. This is not sustainable.
