anyone know how to edit a parent listing to amend the various Size bars that come up when all the products are the same size!

I have various colour options of a 6 pack product in a parent listing. The issue I have is that although they are all the same size, in addition to the colour choice bar, there is also a size choice bar showing 4 options:

70x70 cm (Pack of 6), 6 Count (Pack of 1), 70 x 70 Cm (Pack of 6,) 70x70 cm (6 Count)

I have tried editing every child in the parent and the parent to all show 70x70 cm (Pack of 6) - which is the one I want to use - but they will not amend when I edit. I have tried numerous times now to edit this out.

This must confuse buyers as they will be unsure what they are buying or why the size options are there. But I cannot get rid of the 4 options to have just one.

Anyone have any ideas. ?

thanks

Hello,

I must admit that dealing with locked attributes is one of my absolute pet peeves. While I’ve had some success in the past by engaging with Seller Central, that route tends to be quite labyrinthine. Fortunately, there’s often a simpler path.

Now, let me share a quick workaround—although I want to emphasize that it’s not the “official” way.

What I recommend is adjusting the attribute associated with the parent ASIN and using that attribute to represent the size

Depending on your product listing and category, there are typically multiple avenues for doing this. Personally, I find the Colour-Scent attribute to be the most common choice. Populate the “Scent” field with “70x70 cm (Pack of 6)” for all units, and voilà! It will no longer consider your size-locked attribute it will instead look at the colour and the scent whioch is the same for all of them.

Kind Regards,

Elliot

Hi @Seller_F0et92CN57uiT,

thanks for posting on the Seller Forums.

You already got some great advice from @Seller_zKEt2RiaID5EU. Did you try to update the listing using item_package_quantity as suggested by @Seller_zKEt2RiaID5EU?

Let us know if you were able to make progress on your parent listing.

Best,

Jona
