letter from manufacturer

I received a notification directly from the manufacturer, not from Amazon, about an item I'm selling.

The content appears to be a fraudulent product, a counterfeit product, and a threat to disclose the source of the product.

What should I do in this case?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In this case, if you have the appropriate documentation from the brand/rights owner that authorizes you to sell the item, the best action would be to report the other seller using the Amazon "Report Abuse" form.

If the notification you received is not from another seller, but rather directly from the manufacturer or brand owner, you may want to reach out to them as well to understand their concerns and try to resolve the issue. You can go to the Amazon website, navigate to "Customer Service," and then select the option to "Report Something Suspicious." This will allow you to provide details about the situation and the notification you received, as well as any documentation you have that demonstrates your legitimate right to sell the product.

Amazon takes intellectual property rights very seriously, by reporting the issue through the proper channels, you can notify Amazon of the situation and let them investigate further.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to provide further guidance on the best steps to take in this situation. The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

I wish you all the best,

-Nikki
