Amazon Brand Registry system error that does not let me accept the invitation from the brand owner

I need help with the Amazon Brand Registry program. The brand owner authorized me to sell the products, I have some products sent to Amazon's warehouse already, but I need to update the title and other essential information and after three months of going back and forth with incompetent customer representatives (sadly, over 70% people that I got contact with, couldn't do nothing more than copy-paste the information) someone finally advised me to join the Amazon Brand Registry. So, I contacted the brand owner, who created the listings that I am trying to edit) to add me as an authorized user. The brand owner wasn't sure which option to choose, so he contacted a customer rep, who advised him to add me as a selling agent. So, I ended up being a selling agent. Unfortunately, this role does not let me change the title (thanks for nothing Amazon support). To be able to change the title (according to the rep that I spoke with) I need to be an administrator. I reached out to the brand owner to change the role for me. I have a screenshot from the brand owner showing that he is awaiting an acceptance on my end. The problem is that when I try to accept the invitation, it shows me that I am already a member of the brand. I created a ticket to get this resolved, but unsurprisingly, the person who responded gave me a solution completely unrelated to my problem and deleted the case after that, so I won't be able to try to make further attempts on this case.

You are going about your situation the wrong way.

1. BRAND REGISTRATION: This is used when YOU are the actual owner of the Brand. YOU make the product, YOU package the product, and YOU sell the product either direct to the public or wholesale sell it to other retailers. No one else is involved.

- Only the brand owner can register their brand on the Amazon site.

2. You are seeking approval to sell someone else's brand that you do not own. This is handled by a different team at Amazon, not associated with #1 above. Unusually your commercial invoice with the manufacturer will be enough to get selling approval to sell.

3. Amazon knows what an invoice includes. An invoice is used when Your USA business has a retail commercial credit account with the manufacturer. Most all included.

- YOUR: business name, business address, business phone, sales tax exempt number, your EIN number, your credit line, and terms of sale

- MANUFACTURER’S: address, phone, EIN number, account Rep’s name

- PRODUCT’S: quantity, SKU-Model number,

- DISCOUNTS PROCESSES ON THIS PURHASE: quantity, sale, specials

- TERMS OF SHIPPING: method, who pays, company used, tracking number

- TERMS OF PAYMENT: 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, interest assessed

Some have more, but they all use the same basic format. Even when you call and make a small online order and pay by credit card, an invoice is still sent to you separately containing all of the above.

If you purchased the items from a distributor using cash and carry, or on-line with a credit card, and paid sales tax on it, you are not buying wholesale from the manufacturer.

Hi there @Seller_ECDwKiWkarTFQ- thanks for turning to the forums for some guidance on this, and I'm glad to see @Seller_CW0P5hgbsiqWXis here to share some veteran guidance.

It is true that brand owners should be the source of brand registration, and that the ability to edit listings details on branded items needs to either stem from the brand owner or be approved by the brand. You can read further into the process on this help page.

While the brand owner will need to be the party who assigns roles, contacting support can help clarify the process. Has the brand owner been able to get you tagged as an administrator yet?
