Amazon Brand Registry - Failed Business Verification

Hi all,

We have been trying to get our brand enrolled in Brand Registry so we can list our products and start selling. However, we haven't had any success so far. The surprising part is that our application keeps getting rejected due to failed business verification even though we have a verified Professional Selling account on Amazon where both our state registration number and EIN have been verified.

After appealing for this (out of the 4 times we have applied in total), one error we got was the rejection of the brand due to Abuse Prevention policies from Amazon. However, we got a green flag from Amazon on the same telling us by e-mail that we are eligible.

Now, when we applied with a fresh application, it was again rejected due to failed business verification, and even though people in the support teams ask to "Appeal" the decision, the "Appeal" button in the Brand Registry redirects us to the page where it says that the case is closed.

At this point, we are stuck in a closed loop where support keeps asking us to apply with a fresh application or appeal on the existing application but are unable to do either of these via Amazon's portals and their support teams are doing nothing but sending us auto-generated basic e-mails without addressing the issue. Please let us know a way around this.

My name is JiAlex from the Community Manager team here on forums. I wanted to follow up on your post. I reviewed the case history and application, and at this moment, the application shows pending for you to follow the appeal process.

My advice for you will be for you to please follow the below steps to apply to the appeal from the Brand portal:

1) Login to brand registry portal

2) Click Manage > Brand Applications

3) Click on the "appeal" button appearing in front of the application with status "ineligible"

4) Fill up the appeal form and submit

Once the application has raised an appeal, it will be reviewed by the concerned team. Please take in mind appeal application reviews can take roughly 10-45 days depending on the complexity of the application, and volume the team is handling
