Transfering product to new ASIN
My ASIN accidentally went active with the Generic brand. I am wanting to switch my inventory (currently at Amazon) to a listing where I can use my brand registered name. I spoke to an Amazon rep today who stated that I can remove my listing, wait 24 hours for the SKU to be released & then re-list with a new ASIN after the 24 hours has passed. They said the SKU is how my inventory in the warehouse will be linked to my new ASIN. This is the first time that an Amazon rep has told me this & it seems too easy. Is this true?

I would be very careful about taking ANY advice about that.
There have been MULTIPLE cases recently of sellers getting suspended for doing that based on the 'advice' of some random Amazon Rep since it is brand manipulation.
Your bigger problem is that you clicked on something and activated a generic ASIN. If your item actually does have a brand you are already in violation.
If you have opened any cases provide a number so any MOD that happens to drop by can look it over to see if they can help.
Without a case number in the posts it wastes time for everyone. I no longer tag anyone if there is no case #.
They have to ask for it and then wait for a reply from the poster and then the poster has to wait again for the MOD to find the case, and then more waiting.…………....
