Brands suddenly gated

"Your branded listings on Amazon will be removed from Amazon.com on June 25, 2025. You will be unable to create new listings for these products."

I got this email about an hour ago. I am a book seller in Canada and often ship my books to the states to use the .com website. These are the brands that i can no longer sell and I have lots of books that are now going to be delisted?

McGraw Hill

Pearson

There are some other brands that i can't list now. WHat is the reason for this? Really bummed as this affects my business.

Good Evening @Seller_qX2gOJFf4Ti2B,

We recently sent a message indicating that your listings were removed because your business is located outside of “Amazon.com.” This was an error. To clarify, the action was taken because your business is located outside of the United States.

Some products on Amazon.com are subject to regional selling restrictions. We take these actions to ensure that the items sold in our stores meet local regulatory, safety, and authenticity standards.

What is my selling status?

These products are currently restricted to qualified sellers only and new applications are not being accepted. If eligibility requirements change, a "Request approval" option will appear in the "Add Products" tool in Seller Central.

For more information on product and listing requirements, refer to "Categories and products that require approval".

Have your products been incorrectly identified?

If you believe that we have misidentified your products, submit a dispute through the "View Selling Applications" dashboard in Seller Central.

We're here to help.

If you have further questions, contact Selling Partner Support. Thank you for understanding.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
