US Marketplace Inactive – Listing Shows Active, But No Sales or Visibility

Hello,

We are a new seller launching a premium small-batch product on Amazon US. Our listing is active, inventory is available in FBA, and everything in our Account Health and Identity Verification sections appears green and compliant.

However, we’ve received zero sales since the listing went live. After reaching out to Seller Support, we were told that our US marketplace is currently inactive, and that there is no option to reactivate it manually. They mentioned the issue needs to be escalated to the verification team, which only communicates via email, but we haven’t received any updates or follow-ups nor solutions.

Our AZIN shows as active in Seller Central, with stock, correct pricing, and no errors.

We are stuck since various weeks in a limbo: everything looks normal, but our listing seems invisible to customers and not indexed in search results.

Has anyone experienced this situation where the US marketplace is inactive with no option to reactivate or submit verification again?

We would greatly appreciate any guidance or shared experience on how to resolve this and finally go live.

First, congratulations on your product launch and I certainly want you to have a successful launch. Please, can you provide the case ID of the Seller Support case you mentioned here? I can review most of the info I need from that case (the ASIN, when it launched, inventory etc.).

In the interim, here are some more general assistance. If you are concerned about or find the issue is discoverability of your product, I recommend reviewing the Optimize your product discoverability help page. If you are already enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, the The 2024 Ultimate Brand Guide is a fantastic resource. The guide is fairly large so I would focus on the "Grow Your Brand Awareness," section first.
