Need help with error code 8040 and 5461.
I've been receiving error code 8040 and 5461 for a brand that I have successfully received catalog authorization from to create new ASINs. I have been selling the stand-alone ASIN for more than 3 years and I am trying to create a variation and keep getting these 2 error after uploading the flat file.
I have tried open the case with Amazon but the support was not helpful and didn't know how to resolve it. I just to add a new color to my product.

I've reviewed your case and it looks like you may not be approved to create a variation or new ASINs for this Brand. Are you the Brand Owner for this product? Do you have an application created as recommended in Error 5461? If you provide your previous approval to create ASINs for this Brand I may be able to escalate further. Thank you for your understanding.
