Only protected option for a Standard order is USPS Priority Mail Express!

@KJ_Amazon On Tuesday I could buy protected USPS Ground Advantage shipping for my <1 lb packages. Yesterday I could not, for any order that shipped farther than 2 states away. Both Free Economy and Standard orders were effected by this, 19 of 46 orders. Case ID 16950299361 I ship the bulk of my orders in bubble envelopes so USPS Ground Adv is the only option, UPS destroys those. Prior to yesterday for Q4 I couldn't get UPS Ground Saver as a protected option for my <1 lb packages, now it's available on them. What changed?

Today Buy Shipping gives me one covered option to ship a Standard shipping package, I am being told by Amazon to pay $42.35 to ship an item I sold for $59.95! I have very few claims and my OTDR is 88.98% (or soon to be was). There is no possible way I can pay that amount to ship that item and Amazon shouldn't expect me to. Note, the estimated delivery time from Amazon is over by 1 day for Priority Mail Express but Over by 3 days for Priority Mail. If it was only over by 1 day for Priority Mail my package would be protected at that rate. This is rapidly becoming an anti-trust issue @KJ_Amazon and Amazon better take it seriously and fix it.

1) Are you using AHT and SSA? You do not, then you don't have OTDR protection no matter which shipping is chosen.

2) Even if you are using AHT and SSA, you can still purchase slower shipping.

3) I would suggest looking over your shipping templates to see if they can be adjusted.

Personally, I do not use SSA. I set my own templates for service that I can provide. Of course, I do not get OTDR protection.

i use AHT and this has been getting worse and worse. I suspect they simply are having to cover too many late deliveries or lost items and are looking for ways eato reduce it.

some small items I am shipping without coverage and buying insurance. Some I am cancelling. Keeping a steady 2% cancellation rate now due to this. I'm not just going to eat the cost of outrageous shipping costs. When I cancel, I tell people why.

i truly fail to see how Amazon benefits from changing my handling time. People are always happy to get something earlier than expected. This just sets up problems.

Hello @Seller_7MkPDfvuAAs55

Our partner teams work closely with carriers to provide accurate delivery promise estimates for different services. These timeframes may not always match with what is available on the carrier websites.

I reviewed a selection of active orders and did not see any obvious issues with available/protected shipping services. Shipping services selected by SSA were showing as protected in Buy Shipping. I understand that this is a small sample size, so if you can share a Case ID detailing orders and screenshots you believe demonstrate an issue, I can share those with our partner team for review.

Speaking more generally: transit times are still being affected by peak-period network constraints, and there is a major winter storm affecting some areas and shipping services.

This has been going on for months. I opened a case but there was no response. The problem is that the deliver by dates do not match those of the USPS. This I verified by having the post office check the deliver by date on a package. It was earlier than what Amazon listed on the order.
