Twice in the last week I have been contacted by customers asking me to change the status of their orders to delivered. They got their orders, but Amazon has them as still pending delivery. Of course, me the seller has no ability to change the status of their order.

I sell decals. They are under $10 and under an ounce. They are shipped by me with a stamp as they are not subject to VTR. Amazon has no business pretending to know if the orders have arrived or not because they have zero data to use for that information. This practice opens sellers up for abuse of refunds. The orders are delivered, Amazon says they are still pending, refund can be requested by customer.
