Is Featured Offer Trying To Match Outside Wholesale Prices??

(@Spencer_Amazon please do not close this thread and send me to the BuyBox mega thread. I’ve been waiting for over a week for a response over there. Also, the responses historically suppled on that thread, don’t engage with the question of whether or not Amazon's price trackers differentiate between wholesale or D2C retail).

I am unable to maintain the featured offer on some of my ASINS unless I lower the price so low that I'm just about breaking even and actually losing money if advertising is taken into account.

I am the brand owner / I have excellent account health / I am the only person offering these products on Amazon.

So Amazon must be looking at off site pricing to set the 'competitive price' but judging by how low they are demanding the price be, they are must be making comparisons with wholesale prices and not taking into account the barriers to placing those orders.

Has anyone else experienced this?
