FBA Distributor Damaged Claims (sent via amazon UPS partner program)
Shipment sent 22/07
Amazon marked one unit as distributor damaged on the 26/07
we messaged seller support to ask for reimbursement on the 28/07
by the 30/07 they replied and said they had now lost the distributor damaged unit and as it was lost it was only entitled to a 50% reimbursement. (the date on the lost item is marked as 30/07)
Surely 50% reimbursement for lost items applies to defective and customer damaged
not new units distributor damaged and then lost.

If it puts you at a loss against cost you can push back with your supplier invoice as proof.
