Amazon has updated its policy. Now, they estimate the cost price of an item and refund you based on that amount.
To rectify this, follow these steps:
Go to Inventory > Manage All Inventory.
In the FBA Inventory Tools bar, click on FBA Dashboard.
Under the Inventory tab, select Inventory Defect and Reimbursement.
On this page, at the top right corner, click Manage Sourcing Cost.
Here, you'll find all the inventory that has been reimbursed. If the reimbursement amount is lower than expected, you can upload your invoices, and Amazon will review and adjust the reimbursement amount accordingly.
They also backdate any reimbursements you've been owed with the difference.
