Why am I getting this message when I don't SHIP FBM

Below is the message I am receiving and am totally frustrated at this point. I am not a FBM merchant. All my items are AMAZON FBA. The item says FULFILLED by AMAZON on the order. My inventory shows that it was shipped to Amazon. This is nuts. I attached some images to get some help on this issue if possible. One is my FBM side and as you can see I haven't shipped anything via FBM using the 30 day drop down.

Why are you getting this message? Customer wants a free book without returning it.

It's a customer sending a fake message. They can't even spell. Amazon never wishes us a "Good Day".

I'd love to see them try and file an A to Z claim for an FBA item. They probably made up that message and sent to you because they can't. These templates are posted around the internet on groups and sites that tell you how to get free stuff from Amazon.

I agree with the others, that looks like a fake message made by the buyer. Amazon really should have an easy way to tell if a message is REALLY from customer support or not.

What email address sent the message?

It sure looks scammy. Amazon doesn't say "good day," the word Amazon isn't capitalized, the grammar is crap ("shipped by the third part) is should say a third party, and there are more grammar errors too, and A to Z claim isn't capitalized.

The order status says payment complete so the FBA tracking shows is was delivered or they wouldn't have released the payment to you. As long as you don't have any messages from buyers in your Message area in Seller Central, you can safely assume it's a scam.

I get these all the time, or about once per week or two :-)

I ALWAYS report them as Suspicious, Buyer Demand, etc, and then mark as "No repsosneness necessary"

mispel on perpus ... LOL

Greetings @Seller_GYZrUtJZKkCjd,

Thank you for raising this issue - it's the first time I'm seeing a message like this! As others have mentioned, the grammar within the text does raise alarms and seems inconsistent at best. Thank you for reporting it! I am going to review the details of the order / message and look to report internally for review as well. Thank you again.

Mark it suspiscious or not needed or anything.

Even if Amazon customer service contacts you on behalf of a customer, it STILL doesn't mean ANYTHING.

This message is so poorly worded it is NOT amazon. But, if it was Amazon, you as a customer can get to a customer service rep and tell them anything, they will pass the message. So even if it was customer service, you would simply see that they did receive the item and let them know that Amazon shipped it and they will handle any customer service needed. done and done.

It may be an Amazon agent that this customer had called - I've had it happen where the agent doesn't check and just sends the email passing on the customers wishes. If it is a legitimate Amazon link (which it appears to be), simply reply that this was shipped by FBA and let Amazon sort their own records out.
