Lightning Deal Eligible but not Best Deal
hi. I am eligible for lightning deals but not best deals for my top ASIN. Shouldn’t I be eligible for both and not one or the other?

Let me share what I found in the help pages.
According to Amazon Deals, Lightning Deals and Best Deals are separate promotional types with different requirements. Under the "Deal frequency" section at Create a Deal, you'll see that:
- Lightning Deals cannot run on the same ASIN within a 7-day period
- Best Deals cannot run on the same ASIN within 21 days
Interestingly, the help page mentions that "Because of other criteria that Amazon is unable to disclose, it is possible that certain ASINs may not receive a recommendation although they meet the criteria listed above. Amazon Deals is an invite-only program."
So it's perfectly normal for an ASIN to be eligible for one deal type but not the other.
