Disney ASIN Creation Approval

I have a number of Parent/Child Variation listings

Recently all of these listings I created for Disney have been removed from their parent listing and are now stand alone child listings. They need to be added back into parent listings.

I go through this regularly with different brands and mostly get it fixed by applying for permission to create ASIN's for the brand

Now Seller Support are saying that Disney is a restricted brand and they are not giving approval to create ASIN's for Disney currently. So I can't fix the listings

Can they also stop giving out approval for a brand that many sellers sell from different sources? I have a lot of Disney items on pre-order for the Autumn so I am really in a bad place if I can't create Disney Listings

So basically now the listings are not friendly for the customer, the customer is more likely to order the wrong size which increases my returns, A-Z's and negative feedback.

I also stand to lose money as the stock is less likely to sell.

All of this seems really unfair, can anything be done?

Previously I have applied for approval to list Disney and was granted access for 96 hours each time which enabled me to list some items. I cannot remember if I was able to edit items as well.

I too have recently had items removed, many very old listings long sold out that I had never removed from my inventory. I again applied for Disney approval for the items I still had inventory for but received the same message as you. I assume this is because I have suspected violations on my account and logically Amazon are not going to give approval whilst they suspect you of Disney violations.

I did open a case for one ASIN and they advised as follows after stating they had tried to amend the listing but were unable to :

"However, the detail page associated with this ASIN is managed by the brand owner, who has control over any product-related information. We have forwarded your proposed changes to them for their consideration. Please be aware that the brand owner is not obligated to implement these changes and no further action is needed from your end at this time.

If you don't own the brand but wish to make changes, the brand owner can assign you a role for this brand, granting you the ability to make catalogue changes on their behalf.

They can do this by submitting a request to assign a role to your Brand Registry user account through the Brand Registry Contact Us page. They should select 'Update your brand profile' and then 'Update role for user account' for this purpose."

I'll check in 24 hours to see if Disney change the listing but otherwise I'll sell the inventory elsewhere.
