Was charged $39.99, seller-support not issueing refund, claiming i wan not charged.
I made my "individual" seller account about an year ago, did not have any listings, was basically inactive the whole time till November 2023, when I logged in again and had had to reactivate it and change banking details.
Upon adding a new charge method, i was immediately charged $39.99 from my new charge account (on 23rd November 2023) and later upon doing research found that my account had been switched to professional. I switched it back to "individual" and then using my mobile app, contacted seller support for a refund as I had not used any "pro" services.
After a couple of emails, where I was asked to provide screenshots for proof, I was told that my case had been transferred to another team and will be contacted by them. I received an automated email reply saying i could not be refunded as I was not charged a subscription fee. which is factually incorrect, I have clearly been charged, the money is missing from my bank account and there is a $39.99 which shows in the payments section of the amazon seller page.
Over the last month (December 2023) i have reopened the case multiple times, and made new claims with seller support only to be led around in circles and in the end receive the same email that i can not get a refund as i was not charged a subscription. The latest time i opened the case, I did not even get a final reply and they just deleted my the case details from the seller support list.
I can post screen shots of the charge here if required. I can also list the seller-support case ids that I was assigned while communicating with seller support on this matter. I would like to get my refund asap please.

Why not just go into TOOLS and downgrade to an individual account?

Hello there, my name is CR and I'd love to see if we can get you some more information here.
Would you mind sharing these case #'s below? I'd be happy to review and read through the correspondence that has been provided to date.
In taking a quick look at your account, I can confirm that you are now back on the Individual selling plan.
I will hang tight here for your reply.

Hello again, CR back here.
In looking further into your account, I can see there was a charge of $39.99, and then also a subsequent payment of $39.99 to offset the total charge and balancing it out to $0.
You can find this on your payments tab, and then either on 'Statement View" or 'Transaction View'.
This is likely why you are receiving the above information from Seller Support, as there is nothing to credit back as that had already taken place.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
