Using AWD for holiday season
We are a fairly new seller with a bunch of products that sell pretty well. This will be our first real holiday season, as last year we were very new. I have no idea how much inventory to send to FBA to keep stock throughout the season. I'm wondering if AWD is the solution, even though I've read many a horror story about them on this forum. If anyone has any insights that can help us figure out what to do, we'd so appreciate it!

My rule of thumb without the history is twice the last 90 days of sales.
"FBA Inventory" and look at your last 90 days of sales.
By the end of September, I want that available quantity to times two of the last 90 days sales history.
It isn't 100% accurate, but it is a good place to start to ensure you are less likely to run out of products. If you feel one is going to be a better seller, you can always increase it but remember you are going to have post-holiday overages on some, and that needs to sell out within 6 months to avoid the really big fees. Hence, 6 month of sales available for those 3 months. If it doesn't sell during the holidays, it will within the needed time frame.
Hopefully this helps!
We do not use AWD we figure FBA is enough of a headache why do it twice.

Hi @Seller_Cs7aglCqKocf5, and thanks for your post! I'll monitor this thread while others weigh in but if you have any specific questions for the AWD team I'd be happy to pass along and answer what I can!
