Product Policy Compliance query
Got a ding in my Account Health under Trademark Logo Misuse for the following product: Scalextric C1222 1:32 Scale James Bond 007 Quantum of Solace Digital Race Set (ASIN B0017M0CVC) - irrespective of the fact I haven't listed or sold this item for many years.
I responded and got this reply:
We've reviewed and found that your listing uses the protected trademark term of another rights owner QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
Update your product attributes based on the below use cases:
1. If you want to continue using the existing brand name:
Share a letter of authorisation or licensing agreement proving that you're authorised by the rights owner to create and list products using "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" trademarked term.
For more information, go to "Letter of Authorisation":
https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/GUF78PCXAMHDY2A6
2. If the listed product is an accessory to a product from the "QUANTUM OF SOLACE":
Update the product detail page with title, bullet point, product description, using compatible terms as per "Amazon Intellectual Property policy":
Reference: Your Product’s Brand Name + Product Name + "for"/"compatible with"/"fits"/"intended for" + Brand of Main Product + Main Product Name + other product title elements, if applicable
3. If the listed product is not related to the "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" but it's being incorrectly used in the detail page:
Remove all the terms related to the "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" from the attributes LOGO.
To update your product attributes, follow these steps:
1. Go to "Inventory" and then click "Manage All Inventory".
2. Click "Edit" next to the product you want to fix. This will open a new window with the product details page.
3. Go the appropriate tab to change the specific product attributes.
4. Edit and click "Save and finish."
Once you update the product attributes, please reply with a confirmation.
Not even sure why it's even a logo misuse - Scalextric presumably must have had permission to use 'Quantum of Solace' on its James Bond Car sets. Given what Amazon suggest above can anyone in the know advise what specific attributes I need to change when editing the listing in order to comply with this? Many thanks.

Join in the fun..I've added your thread onto that thread as another example of the heavy handed logic of how amazon are interpreting TM law.

Note - is the item still in your inventory? As that is why it will have flagged. You would need to delete any lines you no longer list from your inventory to avoid this.
