Why 2fa when passkey enabled

There needs to be a feature that allows a login to our accounts that does not require MFA of logins that have uses Passkey. The Passkey is passwordless login that is basically 2fa itself as it's tied to the device and bio so there should be no need to MFA again, it defeats the objective of having passkey in the first place which is meant to make the whole experience more convenient whilst still being secure.

Poor implementation guys at Amazon identity, poor implementation.
