Refund of Professional Account subscription fee

I have created individual selling account on amazon but due to any technical issue the account has been converted to a professional selling account and my credit card has been charged $39.99. I have not sell anything yet and have no active listings on my account. I downgraded my account from professional to individual.

And I also contact with amazon seller support.

Now my question is that: Is it possible that amazon will refund my fee?

I've read cases where some sellers have been successful with this request, so it is possible. It most likely depends on whose desk/screen your inquiry lands on.

And, depending on the chronology of events (when you downgraded, for instance), you may even get a second $39.99 charge.

Amazon will do everything in its power to suck every cent they can out of you.

If no one (mod-like) comes forward to explain it to me, I will have to assume it was done in error, and will try reposting it.

I just noticed something.

Is there some reason the wording of your post is the same as that of several previous posts on this issue?

Here are just four titles I found (some titles repeated exactly, as well) that ALL use the exact or very similar wording as this current post:

Downgrade to Individual Selling account for one marketplace (found 2 of these)

Signed as individual, after verified auto updated to professional?

Refund of Professional account fee (found 2 of these)

refund monthly fee

All share this wording:

It's a copy-and-paste from somewhere, down to the lower-case "i." There are some slight variations, but those are probably deliberate.
