FBA Shipment NIGHTMARE, Amazon Support Useless
Can someone please help with the below issue because Amazon seller support is useless and this has really got me annoyed!
So, I sent a shipment to Amazon containing 5 units. I did not attach SKU labels when shipping, as the ASIN which I shipped them under did not require any seller prep, just the manufacturer's barcode.
After shipping the units, I realised that I had shipped the items under the incorrect product listing, or ASIN as Amazon calls it. The ASIN which I sent the shipment under was for a very similar item, so an easy mistake to make, albeit it was a mistake on my part.
Upon checking, the ASIN which I should have shipped the units under did require SKU labels attaching.
Now, the shipment tracking shows the units have been checked in and received at the Amazon fulfilment centre and the shipping status is now closed.
I have contacted Amazon on several occasions now and they are telling me the units cannot be located and I cannot be reimbursed even though I have provided proof of ownership. They are saying that the system cannot detect the units (which it won’t be able to, as there are no SKU labels added - pretty obvious tbh).
But my point is that I have provided evidence of ownership and evidence of physical units being checked in at the fulfilment centre - so where the hell is my stock!!??
All I need is Amazon to attach the correct SKU labels on my behalf and complete an ASIN flip. It seems a fairly simple fix to me and one which I am willing to pay any additional costs for. However, according to amazon, this is not possible.
So, essentially, my stock is just sat in amazon’s warehouse. They can’t sell it. They can’t reimburse me and they can’t ship it back to me. So what hell happens with that stock? Presumably, a warehouse worker takes it home for free and then sells it instead 🙃.
Fortunately, the stock is only worth a couple hundred pounds, but that isn’t the point. Surely this mistake has happened to other sellers. It seems an easy mistake to make and also a simple fix, I don’t know why Amazon are making it seem like it would be akin to swimming the channel with one arm!
Please can someone help with this, or at least provide me with the peace of mind that I am not the only one going through these issues. It is really getting me angry and no one from Amazon will help.
